SEEKING NEXUS - Seek Your Craft - Live Your Art
'Thumb Poppy' is a 16x20x.75 inch original mixed media art piece created by Renee Robbins. The base is unfinished pine wood. Numerous layers of paint were applied over top of fabric and paper glued down on the board.
Renee likes to work with construction materials and not traditional art supplies. Latex wall paint, joint compound, wood glue and cardboard boxes are some of the items she uses.
